If Leandro Lazzaro had played instead of Batistuta or Crespo, we would have won the World Championship. aguante el eterno goleador de TIGRE

For the past two world cups Klose has scored 2 or more goals in his opening match. I sure hope he doesn’t continue it against Australia.

I hope South Africa has bigger crowds than this one.

I will remember that goal for as long as I live- “BOUBA DIOP IS THERE, OH AND BOUBA DIOP IS THERE!!” Not because I support Senegal particulary, but because I remember I was 12 years old and sat in the gym at school with a load of friends watching the match, and we ALL expected France to win the match, and when Senegal scored (most of us liked the underdog) the whole gym erupted into mass hysteria. Wonderful memories of the 02 World Cup =)

im pretty sure there will be a big crowd for 2010. Football is pretty big for Europeans so yeah they’ll go for sure. Even America is starting to like football or soccer in this case. SO yeah there is nothing to worry about at 2010
July 1st, 2010 at 3:58 am
but still there shouldve been more supporters even if its in another continent otherwise it will be the same in south africa which hopefully it wont
July 1st, 2010 at 4:57 am
The hosts were Korea and Japan so its no surprise that matches that involve those to countries would have a huge audience. If it was in Europe, then the stadium would be full.
