I am trying to learn the German language and am using the Pimsleur and Berlitz programs. I am wondering if there is a faster, easier, or better way to do it. I also have a very large library of German teaching books with exercises, but I have yet to use them very much.

I’m trying to type a paper for my German class and I’m tired of seeing the hundreds of red and green zigzags under my words.

I’m looking for somewhere to find German Beer (specifically a crystal wheat beer, kristall weisbeir) somewhere close to the Twin Cities. Does anyone know of a place that carries this kind of beer?

I want to learn more German during summers and breaks when I’m not in school but it’s hard to learn if I can’t have someone pronouncing the words for me correctly. Is there a website where I can type in a german word or something and it will pronounce it?

I heard that German schools after the war never taught much about the Holocaust at all or Germany’s role in the war and at most just skimmed over it, is this true and is it still true today? If you’re German and you want to school in Germany do you remember, did your teachers teach you much about it?
